捲起時，彷彿方形的棉絮般厚重；
展開時，感覺比帶露的桃花還新嫩。
左思的《三都賦》曾使這種紙張珍貴，
張芝的寸方字跡也視之如寶。
如果謝公想要索取，
我願奉上九萬張，輕如纖塵，任他使用。

Often named 'Spring of Brocade Waters,' its praises ring.
Rolled, it seems as weighty as a square of cotton snow;
Unfurled, it feels fresher than a peach with morning dew.
Zuo Si's 'Three Capitals' made such paper prized and dear,
As did Zhang Zhi's inch-square scripts, treasures held so near.
If Duke Xie were to ask for some, I'd gladly give —
Ninety thousand sheets, a mote of dust, for him to live.
