我不執掌價值千金的珍寶，
卻想一睹九色神龍的真容。
它背負河圖，是應驗聖王的祥瑞，
口銜燭火，照亮幽深隱祕之處。
我只仰望它那飛騰天際的雄姿，
哪裡會去聽聞原野征戰的憂患。
乾枯焦渴的大地急需充沛的甘霖，
莫要再說我無所祈求。

Not wielding treasures of a thousand gold,
I long to see the nine-hued dragon's form.
Bearing the chart, a sage of legends old,
Holding a candle, lights the deepest gloom.
I only gaze upon its soaring flight,
And heed no tales of battles on the plain.
Parched lands await the downpour's saving might,
Say not that I have nothing to obtain.
