八桂之地與九疑山疆域相連；
遊覽這寶剎，我辜負了內心的期盼。
未見檀木佛像展現升天的景象；
空有琬琰碑石傳述建寺的銘文。
那白玉毫光理應照耀著我；
這黃金色相最終又會爲誰停留？
他日在這靈川的香雲之中；
莫要再說凡夫見到佛陀太遲。

The domain of Eight Cassias connects to the Nine Doubts Peaks;
Visiting this precious temple, I feel I've betrayed my heart's wish.
Sandalwood statues, yet I see no image of ascent to heaven;
The jade tablet in vain transmits the tale of the temple's founding.
The white-jade halo's light should, I think, shine upon me;
The golden-colored form, in the end, for whom does it remain?
In the future, amidst fragrant clouds by the Spirit River;
Do not say that a mortal man is late in seeing the Buddha.
