巨大的岩石中間裂開一個孔竅，
佛龕和僧人的牀榻遍布山岩的幽深角落。
羣峯競相湧現出玄黑的雲氣，
險峻的石階只容幽居的鳥兒飛來。
蝙蝠的洞穴巧妙地隱藏了人間的世界，
鰲山驚異地浮現出海市蜃樓的亭台。
重遊此地，又要與山中的僧人分別，
鐘鼓無情，鶴獨自哀鳴。

Where shrines and monks' beds nestle in the cliff's deep core.
Peaks vie to send forth dark clouds, rolling in the air,
The sheer path only welcomes birds in solitude there.
Bat caves ingeniously hide the world of human strife,
The turtle-mountain startles, a mirage of life.
I come again, yet bid the mountain monk goodbye;
The bell and drum, unfeeling, while the crane grieves alone with a sigh.
