從萬里之外歸來，回到這雲水之鄉；
正值春天，得到美酒，姑且徘徊徜徉。
愛慕賢才，有誰能像那對松樹般的吏員？
使得我時常最終狂飲一石之量。
忽然遇到從高唐而來、目光短淺之人；
卻讓朱紅的大門鎖住了梅花般的妝容。
先生您取瑟而歌，是我的知音知己；
怎能從今往後不舉杯共飲呢？

Meeting spring, with wine in hand, I wander in a dream.
Who, loving worth, can match the pines, those steadfast peers?
They drive me to drain, time and again, a stone-jar's cheers.

The vermilion door locks away the mume's fair light.
You, sir, who take the lute, are a friend who knows my heart;
How can I not raise high the cup, from now, and never part?
