長久以來就想要脫離塵世的羅網，
卻沒有辟穀不食的仙方。
釋然地到山中漫遊，
世俗的思慮在此可以暫時遺忘。
鷗鳥和白鷺也懂得時機，
深深地躲入茭白和蒲草叢中隱藏。
躺在船中，任其漂流到江河中央，
我自嘆不如那漁家兒郎。

Yet found no way to live on air, devoid of care.
Released, I wander now amidst the mountain's grace,
Where worldly thoughts can briefly find a hiding place.
The gulls and herons too know when to hide away,
Deep into reeds and rushes they retreat and stay.
Lying in a boat set adrift upon the stream,
I feel less free than fishermen, or so I deem.
