山岩環繞，流水縈迴，石頭壘成了城池，
千古流傳的遺風，至今仍是典範與法式。
人們爭相驚嘆君王當年從藍縷衣衫開創基業，
卻也並非沒有小舟載著姿態美好的女子。
流連之際，還在詢問玉圭是否配得上柲柄——古老的疑問，
預兆的跡象，虛妄地流傳，如同蜂蜜化作浮萍。
更可惜讒言的鋒芒傷害了如蘭草般高潔的品性，
直到今日，日月才照亮了《離騷》經典的輝光。

Mountains and waters entwine, stone forms the city wall,
A legacy of ancient customs, models for all.
They vie in marveling how the king rose from rags to reign,
Yet boats still carried beauties, their grace not in vain.
Lingering, they ask if the jade scepter fits the haft—an old debate,
Portents, vainly told, like honey becoming duckweed, seal fate.
More pity that slander's edge struck the orchid's noble name,
Only now do sun and moon shine bright on the Songs' fame.
