爲躲避賊寇侵擾，煩勞三位鄉老相助，
哪知道這竟成了一次愉快的遠遊。
平靜的湖面承受著綿綿細雨，
遙遠的岸邊送別了輕盈的小舟。
天地仿佛也爲這深重的阻隔而悲傷，
山川卻安慰著我這久留的客愁。
鄰船參差不齊地響起出發的聲音，
並未覺得我的壯志豪情就此罷休。

To escape the rebels, I troubled three elders for aid,
Who knew this would turn into a delightful excursion instead?
The calm lake receives the drizzle, fine and light,
The distant shore sends off the boat, drifting out of sight.
Heaven and earth grieve over the profound, obstructed way,
Mountains and rivers console me for my prolonged stay.
From neighboring boats, sounds rise, uneven and clear,
I do not feel my lofty aspirations disappear.
