夏末的餘熱遲遲不肯退去，
暢快的風欣喜地吹拂而過。
明月緩緩出現在西邊的屋簷，
我與你暫且一同起舞婆娑。
起初像金盆湧出般光芒四射，
漸漸又如玉鏡打磨後澄澈。
它亭亭玉立，依偎著華美的月魄，
光豔流動，舒展著清冷的柔波。
夜氣清冽，直透入人的骨髓，
面對這般光景，我又能如何？
幸好有一杯酒與你共飲，
怎能停止吟詠詩句的快樂？
駕月的纖阿女神從不停下車輪，
我衰頹的雙鬢已蕭疏眾多。
及時相會，應當盡情行樂，
不必吝惜醉後通紅的面色。

The lingering summer heat refuses to depart,
A brisk wind joyfully sweeps through the heart.
The bright moon tarries in the western sky,
With you, I dance and sway, as time goes by.
At first, it surges like a golden basin's gleam,
Then slowly polishes to a jade mirror's beam.
Gracefully it leans on the radiant soul of night,
Gorgeously it spreads its frozen waves of light.
The night air, pure and clear, pierces to the bone,
What can I do with such a scene, alone?
A cup of wine, a toast we're fortunate to share,
How can I cease to chant my verses, free from care?
The moon's fair driver never stops her wheel,
My thinning hair already rustles, I can feel.
Seize the moment, find joy before it's past,
Spare not a flushed face from the wine, held fast.
