雨後天晴，我悠閒地漫步在溪澗邊的沙地上，
走入荒蕪的樹林，聽見紛亂的鴉鳴。
寒食與清明時節，驚動了旅人的心緒，
暖風和遲遲的春日，讓梨花沉醉迷離。
書生年老，投宿於王官谷中，
壯士苟且偷生，曾依靠漂母的救濟。
這裡不需要鞦韆與蹴鞠的遊戲，
我只用詩句來應答逝去的年華。

And walk into the wild woods, hearing crows' clamorous measure.
Cold Food and Clear Bright Festivals startle the traveler's heart,
While warm breeze and lingering sun make pear blossoms drunk, set apart.
A scholar, aged, throws himself into Wangguan Valley's deep,
A warrior, clinging to life, by the washerwoman's aid did keep.
No need for swings or games of kickball here to play,
I'll only answer fleeting years with verses, come what may.
