寂然無聲，更是斷絕了所有念頭。
窗上映出雙鳥飛過的影子；
水聲潺潺，是船隻正在逆流而上。
每擔任一任官職，便成就一部詩集；
如今全都付諸這古老的河頭。

Meeting people, I'm filled with but fourfold woe.
Vague and distant, mixed with mere assent, it seems;
Silent and still, it ends in giving up all dreams.
Through the window, shadows of a pair of birds fly;
Against the current, a boat goes by with water's sigh.
For each post held, a collection of verse I've made;
All are cast away where the ancient river's laid.
