喜鵲翩翩飛翔，暮色中想要棲息，
楚地上空的新月照耀著雕飾的椽頭。
袖中存放了三年的字跡已經消退，
內心的情思只有一點犀角可以相通。
步障的影子使通往金谷園的道路迷離，
桃花的香氣將我阻隔在武陵溪的另一邊。
瑤華般美好的花朵適合折取，卻無人可寄，
在江邊高樓的百尺階梯上，我肝腸寸斷。

The new moon over Chu sky shines on the carved lintel, blessed.
In my sleeve, the three-year-old characters have faded away;
In my heart, only a speck of rhinoceros-horn conveys.
The screened path's shadows blur the road to Golden Valley's delight;
Peach blossom fragrance parts me from the stream at Wuling's site.
Fine jade-like flowers are fit to pluck, but none to send them to;
Heartbroken by the river tower, a hundred-foot stair's view.
