白下官署旁的楊柳新芽嫩黃，
騎臺南邊的道路綠意無邊無際。
含苞的紅花與初綻的白花接連美好，
花香飄過水麵，一陣陣悠長不絕。
我們踏著溼滑的春草，穿過馬耳般的草叢，
從高險處轉向，沿著羊腸小道蜿蜒而出。
有誰知道南杜（指杜甫）的風流文采依然在此？
我預先擔心，叩門拜訪時會遇到殘斷的詩章。

The willows by the southern city wall turn a tender yellow hue,
The road south of Riding Terrace stretches green without an end in view.
Red buds and white blooms mingle in a lovely, continuous array,
Their fragrance wafts across the stream, lingering long along the way.
We tread the slippery path in spring, threading through the horse-ear grass,
Then turn from perilous heights and wind along the sheep-gut pass.
Who knows the southern poets' grace and spirit still remain?
I fear, when knocking at the gate, to find a broken strain.
