若不是兩岸崖壁的約束，
怎能免於溝壑崩塌、激流奔騰？
它如線一般引向溫湯浦的岸邊；
酒杯漂浮在那雪水源頭之上。
木筏的行程似乎即將到達盡頭；
向西眺望，心神爲之震撼迷茫。

Muddied for miles through Jing and Wu they flow.
If not restrained by cliffs on either side,
How could they from collapsing gorges go?
Thread-like, they lead to hot springs' banks afar;

Westward I gaze, my soul in awe will blend.
