在梧桐樹蔭下，回憶往年的吟詩結社；
分別後，我種下梅花，搭起幾間小屋。
你的飄逸詩韻在湖海間備受推崇；
但朝廷的徵召不至，令人嘆息賢才被遺落。
你的兒子收集你的殘稿，能夠傳承家業；
你為自己生平所作的記述，無愧於天地。
再也無法通過便捷的船隻寄送書信；
我向西眺望夾山，淚水潺潺流淌。

Beneath the paulownia shade, I recall our poetry club of yore;
After parting, I planted plums and built a few rafters.
Across lakes and seas, your graceful verse is praised;
Yet no summons came, lamenting the neglected sage.
Your son gathers your drafts, able to carry on your work;
Your own record of a lifetime leaves no shame before heaven.
No more can I send letters by convenient boat;
Gazing west toward the flanking hills, my tears flow endlessly.
