其侵凌的威勢仿佛要逼迫青翠的山峯。
初生的草芽不顧自己新破甲殼而生長，
蟄伏的蟲獸尤憐惜自己剛剛開啓的洞穴封土。
哪有閒暇去分辨王侯貴族中的賢愚玉石，
這情景略如伯益驅逐蛇龍，平定山川。
這滔天的、有失仁德的野火無人過問，
我獨自倚靠著高樓，一直到晚鐘敲響。

Its rampant force aspires to press against the azure height.
Young grass sprouts heedless of the armor newly rent and torn,
The dormant creatures pity their sealed dwellings, now outworn.
No time to judge the nobles, jade from stone to separate,
Much like Lord Yi, who drove the serpents off, to change their fate.
To the horizon spreads this ruthless might, by none reproved,
Alone I lean on the high tower till the evening bell has moved.
