棠樹的蔭涼仍讓百姓思念他的恩惠，
他管理財政能使國家有所儲備。
可嘆位列九卿之時已晚，
正值因在十連治績卓著而被召用之初。
靈車想必行過桐鄉的道路，
多少鰥寡孤獨之人淚灑衣襟。

Family tradition passed down was the study of poetry and books.
The shade of pear trees still makes people recall his kindness,
His management of resources enabled the state to have reserves.
Alas, late was his entry into the nine ranks of high office,
Just as he was summoned for outstanding service among ten regions.
The funeral carriage passes, I think, on the road to Tongxiang,
How many widows and orphans have soaked their sleeves with tears.
