在政治清明的時代，賢能的輔臣都知曉他的才能。
恩惠遍及南海，曾在此執掌軍務，
向中央機構呈上奏疏時，行裝簡樸，僅以包袱靠屏風。
年屆七十，正適宜漫遊於桂園，
為何匆匆以五言詩句，哀悼於梅林？
相鄰鄉里的父老一同垂淚悲傷，
兩縣百姓懷念他的惠政，如同甘棠樹茂密的廕庇。
