山巒矗立在溪流之中，溪水又環繞著山巒，
人生的鬼門關究竟在何處？
幾聲柔和的櫓聲飄蕩在風雷之外，
一葉輕舟行駛在如劍戟般險峻的灘石之間。
試問那片刻陷入險境、驚懼沉溺的感受，
怎比得上整日緩慢而艱辛地攀登？
要相信，行走險境並非上天註定，
平坦的道路，自古以來也從未讓人免除後來的艱難。

Where in life does the gate of ghosts lie?
A few soft oar-strokes beyond the wind and thunder,

How does it compare to a whole day's slow and arduous climb?
Believe and know that treading peril is not heaven's mandate—
