三十七位嘉賓在燕公堂歡宴，
我們的道義正逢興盛，恰值陽氣初生。
他們的學識早已深知孔孟之道，
本鄉的風尚真可繼承陳、楊的遺風。
如大鵬高飛九萬里，他們將朝見天闕，
身懷三千禮樂，沾染御殿的香氣。
我這老太守還能目睹這般盛事，
在這春深時節，欣喜若狂。

Our path now thrives, touched by the first sun's ray.
Their learning, deep as Confucius and Mencius, we understand;
Our local customs well follow Chen and Yang's way.
Soaring ninety thousand li, they'll reach the heavenly gate,
With rites and music three thousand, the royal scent they bear.
This old governor still can witness this prosperous state,
In the heart of spring, my joy is beyond compare.
