用金刀細細裁剪青色的薄紗。
素色的盤子恰好應付飢腸雷鳴,
飽足後感到春陽充滿枯瘦的腹部。
我生的頭臉並非虎頜燕頷(指無富貴之相),
不許嫌棄粗劣的野菜。
從今起種植一區蔥和韭菜,
便可早餐進食無需肉食。
君不見那些寶馬雕鞍的紈絝子弟,
葫蘆般的身體充塞著甘肥美食。
一生飽食至死如同天牛的幼蟲,
伯夷叔齊至今被民衆稱頌。
At dawn I gather herbs at South Mountain's foot,
With a golden knife, finely cut the green silk.
A plain plate just meets the thunder of hunger,
Full, I feel spring sun fill my withered belly.
My head and chin are not of tiger or swallow,
Not allowed to disdain coarse wild vegetables.
From now on, plant a patch of scallions and chives,
Then I can dine in the morning without meat.
Have you not seen the dandy with fine horse and saddle,
His gourd-like body stuffed with sweet fat?
A life of glutted death like a grub,
Yet Boyi and Shuqi are praised by people to this day.
