我的禮儀文采，比嵇康還要疏放。
我的疾病，比沈約（沈隱侯）還要繁多。
慚愧我空受俸祿，如同懸掛的祭品（尸位素餐）。
看你（指贈詩對象）卻如庖丁解牛，迎刃而解，技藝高超。
昨夜傳來一炬平安火（報告平安的烽火）。
真令人欣喜，首先寬解了對朝廷（或君王）膳食的憂慮。
