落日與殘霞將島嶼映照得分明，
淡淡的煙靄與衰敗的秋草，牽動著古往今來的情思。
青翠的山巒偏偏向心意中的遠方退去，
潔白的鳥兒正好在我吟詠之處橫飛而過。
歲末的梅花和我一同衰老，
憂愁襲來時，這杯竹葉酒又能向誰傾吐心事？
漂泊漫遊，無奈於這流逝年華的感慨，
遠處的水邊，晚風與潮水又一次生成。

The setting sun and fading clouds make islands bright;
Pale mist and withered grass stir feelings old and new.
Green hills recede, as if to match my mind's far flight;
White birds fly right across where I chant, in full view.
Plum blossoms, like me, age as the year draws to its close;
To whom can I pour out my sorrows, with bamboo wine?
Drifting, I feel the helpless grief that time bestows;
On distant shore, night wind and tide once more combine.
