世道阻塞，賢能之士的道路難以通行，
通達之人能看清困厄與顯達的際遇。
彗星出現於天寶末年，時局動盪，
士人的前路如同飄飛的蓬草般無依。
秦君正是在這樣的時代，
隱匿行跡於雲霞山林之中。
他卻能讓千年以後的人們，
為詩人的困頓境遇而嘆息不已。

The world is blocked, the path for the worthy is barred,
The wise discern the shifts of fortune and fate.
At the end of Tianbao, chaos reigned like a star,
Scholars wandered the roads, adrift and desolate.
In such an age, the recluse withdrew from sight,
Folding his traces among clouds and rosy light.
Yet he moves the hearts of a thousand years to come,
Who sigh for the poet's plight, so poor and glum.
