天意要滅亡他，爲漢朝開闢疆土；
將軍的英武氣概契合風雲際會。
他遠驅三千騎兵出函谷關，
南下率領十萬大軍征討番禺。
從此山河之間消除了堡壘對峙，
至今百姓仍承受著他普通的功勳。
後來那些扼腕嘆息征討蠻族的人，
俸祿厚重而功績輕微，全然比不上您。

Heaven willed his fall, opening the Han's domain;
The general's valor matched the wind and clouds.
Far he drove three thousand horsemen through Hangu Pass,
South he led a hundred thousand troops to Panyu.
Henceforth, rivers and mountains saw no more fortresses;
To this day, the folk bear the weight of his common merit.
Later those who wring their wrists campaigning against southern tribes,
With heavy pay but light achievement, are nothing like you.
