荒野小店，雞鳴報曉，天色微明，
籬笆荊棘帶著夜色，在晨光中漸漸分明。
計時的漏壺滴水聲，隨著雨停而消盡，
青翠的山色，彷彿依傍著小船迎面而來。
平生的事業，都已歸入書卷之中，
日常的生活，全付與酒杯相伴。
溪邊的老翁，早已習慣來來往往，
不怕那白鷗猜疑，自在安然。

Through thorny hedges, twilight parts to show the sight.
The water-clock's last drips are lost within the rain,
While mountain hues draw near, approaching by the main.
My life's pursuits are all confined to books and scrolls,

The streamside elder, used to coming and to go,
Fears not the white gull's doubts that on the waters show.
