作爲客居淮南的人，我遙望京城，
祥瑞的煙雲似乎不遠，可恨現實卻艱險高峻。
居民爲避溼氣很晚才開門，
棲息的鳥兒因寒冷擇木而驚飛。
波濤時起時落，潮水似不守信，
關隘河流有盜賊，夢境也非真情。
不知歸去的計劃從何而得，
那潁水青山的畫卷還未畫成。

A stranger south of Huai, I gaze toward the capital afar,
Where auspicious smoke seems near, yet my towering grief is real.
Dwellers open doors late to avoid the damp, ajar,
Roosting birds, startled by cold, choose another tree to feel.
Waves rise and fall without a tide, as if the sea breaks its vow;
Passes and rivers harbor thieves, making dreams devoid of grace.
I know not how to find a way for my return, and now,
The painting of Blue Ying and Green Song remains an unfinished space.
