偶然屈就一個官職，只爲微薄俸祿的打算，
心中便懷有對千里之外百姓長久的憂慮。
桑樹間舉起養蠶的竹箔，蠶兒剛開始結繭，
田壟上揮動鐮刀，麥子已成熟，秋收在即。
更令人欣喜的是風雷從北極方向生發，
頃刻間驅使雲雨從那靈驗的深潭湧出。
從今以後，豆類和穀物不再是徒然的祈求，
必將見到貧瘠田地上的豐收果實裝滿竹籠。

By chance, I took an office for a petty salary's sake,
Yet bore the care for people far away, a burden hard to shake.
In mulberry fields, trays are raised as silkworms start to spin their cocoon;
On ridges, sickles swing, for wheat has ripened, autumn soon.
More joy to see the wind and thunder rise from the North Pole,
Driving clouds and rain at once from the sacred pool's deep hole.
From now on, beans and millet need no empty prayers in vain,
I'll see the baskets full with harvest from each humble plain.
