表海亭的風流往事早已聽聞，
如今高聳入雲的樓觀煥然一新。
山河形勝的十二州空有其名，
三千賓客的足跡早已湮沒無存。
極目遠眺，煙靄山嵐彷彿接近九霄；
滿州樓閣與千家萬戶都沐浴著春色。
自古以來的興衰都如南柯一夢，
但可喜的是登臨覽勝的職責留給了後人。

The fame of Table Sea's grand style is old lore to hear,
A soaring tower in azure sky now stands fresh and clear.
The famed twelve hills and streams remain, but in name alone,
The throngs of courtiers, their traces, have long been overthrown.
Gazing afar, the mist-clad peaks seem close to the ninth sphere;
Towers and homes across the isle bask in spring, far and near.
Rise and fall since ancient times are but a Southern Bough dream;
Yet I rejoice that later men can climb and gaze supreme.
