最初感受到春風，吹動了彩色的旗幡，
我親自挑選雪白的薺菜，盛放在迎春的盤子裡。
泥土塑的春牛（儀式）又送來了一年老去的訊息，
野鶴並不知道隱居小徑的寒冷。
我的筋骨尚且能夠耕種綠色的田野，
我斑白的頭髮也想要戴上隱士的黃冠。
沒有人與我一同騎乘南山的小牛犢，
那就改爲去尋訪、觀賞春花與楊柳吧。

The first breath of spring wind flutters the colored streamers,
I pick snow-pure shepherd's purse to fill the vernal plate.
The earthen ox heralds another year of aging,
The wild crane knows not the chill of the secluded path.
My sinews still can till the emerald fields,
My graying hair longs for the hermit's yellow cap.
No one to ride with me the calf of Southern Mountain,
I'll go instead to seek the flowers and willows' sight.
