漫漫長夜，這愁緒無法穿透。
我拿起琴彈奏起思念的曲調，
樂聲急切，琴弦屢次斷絕。
芬芳的年華一天天遠去，
事物的香澤已然消散。
秋風吹拂著石門，
思念著你，卻又要再次訣別。
誰說存在一種超脫生死的忍耐？
只有體會過這悠悠別離的人才能明白。

The secluded orchid endures the fresh frost,
A lone wild goose cries beneath the waning moon.
How can this deep sorrow ever be calmed?
Through the long night, it cannot be pierced through.
I take the lute and play a tune of longing,
The notes grow urgent, the strings snap again and again.
The days of fragrant youth grow ever more distant,
The sweet aura of things has already faded.
The autumn wind blows through the stone gate,
Thinking of you, I must yet again bid farewell.
