乘著興致登上這座亭子，
朱紅的欄杆臨近曲折的沙洲。
擡頭俯仰之間盡收眼底，
高處的清風吹動著我的衣裘。
初升的太陽力道尚且微弱，
浩茫的冰雪還未完全消收。
林間有鳥翅時隱時現，
飛翔鳴叫，各自有所追求。
遙望那北面的山嶺，
自在的雲氣悠然飄遊。
聽說有兩位高潔的隱士，
採食靈芝，臥於幽深的岩岫。
神鳥長離翱翔在青天之上，
燕雀之輩怎能與之共謀？
我啊，對世俗的滋味本就淡薄，
獨坐此處，感慨歲月奔流。
但願能追隨那些賢人，
一同去作世外的逍遙之游。

With rising spirits, I climb this pavilion high,
Where vermilion railings overlook the winding stream.
A single glance takes in all beneath the sky,
The lofty wind shakes my robe, a refreshing theme.
The newborn sun's strength is still faint and weak,
Vast ice and snow have not yet withdrawn their hold.
Wings flit among the woods, a glimpse I seek,
Each bird's flight and cry tells a story untold.
I gaze at those northern hills, distant and steep,
Where carefree clouds wander in a leisurely sweep.
I've heard of two noble hermits dwelling there,
Who feed on magic herbs in rocky lairs bare.
The long-li bird soars in the azure expanse,
How could swallows and sparrows share its advance?
As for me, worldly tastes have grown thin and light,
Sitting here, I feel the years flow in their flight.
My wish is to follow those sages of old,
And roam with them beyond the mortal world's hold.
