泰山分出的靈秀之氣匯聚在這靈巖，
殿閣高峻雄偉，聳立在重疊的山峰之間。
高僧因感應青蛇而尋得這處勝地，
泉水因曾有白鶴出現而向禪門進獻。
十里松樹掩映的石階藏著歸去的路，
僧人的誦經聲千百次迴響在夜晚的山中。
暫且擺脫塵世的束縛，停下馬車稍作休息，
卻還不能讓心追隨那片白雲去享受閒適。

Mount Tai's finest essence gathers here at Spirit Cliff,
Where halls and towers rise majestic 'midst the layered peaks.
The master, moved by a blue snake, sought this blessed ground;
The spring, because of a white crane, offers its tribute to the Chan gate.
A pine-lined ladder of ten li hides the homeward path,
A thousand chants of monks resound through the night-bound hills.
I shed the worldly dust awhile and pause my carriage here,
Yet cannot let my heart pursue a wisp of cloud in idle ease.
