富貴與窮困，難道不是命中注定？
爲了逢迎討好，不得不卑躬屈膝。
人情淡薄，猶如剡溪出產的紙張一樣輕薄；
世事無常，好似錢塘江的潮水般洶湧起伏。
從結冰的井裡，要連冰帶水一起打上來；
在嚴寒的山中，要頂著風雪去砍伐柴薪。
揚雄雖然一生寂寞清貧，
但莊子卻得以逍遙自在。

To fawn and flatter, one must bend the knee.
Human feelings are as thin as paper from Shan Creek;
