回首但見暮雲空碧。
如今想來，鬢髮已全白。
眠鹿磯頭的茅屋破爛，
試問草堂，誰管真泉石？
還留有青牛的足跡。
老峯點頭似在招客。
說道十年間在玉斗窗邊，
兩次疏遠未見。
贏得老夫熟諳世情，
不再作少年般的嘆息。
看雨過後，青山依舊翠色。
從汶上歸來再訪我時，
最高峯頭新長的靈芝可摘。
分半席而坐，
共吹橫笛。

The sail is lowered west of the bay.
I gaze at Old Peak of Mount Lu—its face,
once familiar in the past.
Year after year, the river waves surge far away,
looking back, twilight clouds empty and blue.
Now I imagine—hair completely white.
At Mianlu Rock, the thatched cottage is dilapidated;
I ask the grass hall—who tends the true spring and stones?
Still more, there are traces of the green ox.
Old Peak nods as if beckoning a guest.
It says: ten years by the jade‑dou window,
twice we've grown distant.
What I've gained is an old man's knowledge of the world,
no longer sighing like a youth.
Look after the rain—the green mountain's color remains.
Returning from Wenshang, visit me again;
on the highest peak, new-grown mushrooms can be plucked.
Share half the mat,
and play the horizontal flute together.
