采石磯書生的功業仍在，
憑弔錦袍公子，魂魄歸於何處？
遺恨流向下游，秦淮的歌女。
在多景樓頭吟詠北固山，

且縱情痛飲，

A guest traveled past eastern Lu.
From Ge River, he sailed west,
sails opening toward the three Chu lands.
A thousand miles of lake light polished like a mirror,
facing the Five Elders, Falling Star's misty isle.
Then flying past the door of Two Maiden Peaks.
The willows of Pengze, old and new in green,
gazing toward Jiuhua, along the road to Chiyang.
Wind and rain in the temple,
the feathers of Wu River.
Emei and Niuzhu remain as before.
I ask why—at Lu Port's sandbar,
the river's voice is silent.
The scholar of Caishi, his deeds endure—
I mourn the brocade-robed lord, where does his soul wander?
Regret flows down to the Qinhuai merchant girls.
At Duojing Tower, chanting of Northern Fortress,
laughing in Pingshan Hall—who is master there?
Just drink deeply now,
the nectar of Qionghua.
