The pondside lodge suits my quiet solitude,
I chant wildly, learning to mock myself.
Dew-laden lotus blooms scent the air freely,
Bamboos in the wind clatter coldly together.
Losing ambition, I resent this lonely post;

If fate grants me a share of the fairy mountains,
I'll surely seek out the Three Mao brothers.
