欲得黄芽先炬铅。
阳壬不去火中走，
阴丙如何得作烟。
鸡抱卵兮日数足，
母生子兮十月全。
但得坤来为屋宅，
坤至何愁不作干？
伏吾此法在目前，
违吾此法饶万年。
八石须向火中走，
莫弄水饱费君钱。
还丹不是世难学，
自是时人志不坚。

还丹篇啊，还丹篇，
想要得到黄芽先要烧炼铅。
阳性的壬水若不经火炼，
阴性的丙火怎么能化作烟？
母鸡抱孵鸡蛋啊天数要足，
母亲生育孩子啊要满十个月。
只要得到坤土来作为屋宅（鼎器），
坤土到了，何愁不能变成干金？
遵行我的这个方法就在眼前，
违背我的这个方法空耗万年。
八种石药必须向火中锻炼，
不要玩弄水法白白耗费你的钱财。
还丹不是世上难学的东西，
只是当今之人的意志不坚定。
若能明白魏伯阳的十首诗歌，
千次海变桑田（也能成就）。

To obtain the Yellow Sprout, first burn the lead.
If Yang-Ren does not go through the fire,

A hen broods over eggs till the days are complete,
A mother bears a child after ten full months.
Just get Kun to serve as the dwelling,
Once Kun arrives, why worry about not becoming Qian?
Submit to my method, it's right before your eyes,
Defy my method, you'll toil for ten thousand years.
The eight minerals must go through the fire,
Don't play with water-saturation, wasting your money.
The Elixir is not hard for the world to learn,
It's merely that people's will is not firm.
If you understand Lord Wei's ten songs,
A thousand times the sea will change to mulberry fields.
