华美的楼阁中仿佛弥漫着云霞，
芬芳的林木间草树一片清新。
鸟儿受惊，误以为天将破晓，
花儿绽笑，却与春天无关。
青山面对着弹琴的雅客，
溪流挽留着垂钓的闲人。
请看那些乘车骑马的奔忙之客，
所行之处无不带着仆仆风尘。

The ornate pavilion is filled with clouds and haze,
The fragrant woods, with grass and trees, in fresh arrays.
Birds startle, thinking dawn is about to break,
Flowers smile, but not for spring's own sake.
The mountain faces the guest playing his lute,
The stream detains the man with his fishing pursuit.
But look at those guests in carriages and on steeds,
Wherever they go, dust and turmoil their path heeds.
