Tomorrow east of town to see apricot blooms we'll go;
I urge the lad to prepare the carriage early, you know.
Our road will pass before the Danfeng Tower grand;
Our wine we'll borrow from the Golden Fish Inn on hand.
Green water fills the ditches, where sweet herbs grow;
Warm clouds about to bring rain dampen the mud below.
Far surpassing the road to Xiangyang where Lord Yang Fu did ride,
Our carriages and horsemen, with west wind, drums and pipes beside.
