My family home lies beneath the palace gates,
But to avoid the world, I journey east of the pass.
With wine, I get drunk like Liu Ling;
Childless, I'm poor like Bo Dao.
New poems are chanted and admired in the pavilion,
My old pursuit—the fishing terrace—lies empty.
Through rain and snow, you still visit me.
Your heart and mind are the same as mine.
