你没看见路旁废井边开着花吗？
那原是往年骄奢权贵之家。
多少次美人来此照影，
浣洗纤手，笑着拉起银瓶的绳子。
如今风吹雨散，无可奈何，
绣门雕梁长满了绿苔。
笙歌鼎沸时你不要自傲，
豪奢未必能长久保有财富。
别说平民朴实不知羞耻，
终究必须符合天理。
并非故意要败坏他，却成了这样，
苏秦张仪最终成了多言的鬼魂。
行路难啊，
路难不在那九曲回环处。

Don't you see the well by the road, blooming beside ruins,
Once the home of a proud, noble family?
How many times did beauties come to mirror themselves,
Washing slender hands, laughing as they drew the silver rope?
Scattered by wind and rain, what now?
Embroidered doors, carved ridges, thick with green moss.
Do not boast of feasts with songs at their peak,
Wealth and luxury may not long hold gold.
Speak not of common folk as simple and shameless,
In the end, all must accord with Heaven's law.
Not by intent to ruin him, yet this came to pass,
Su Qin and Zhang Yi ended as verbose ghosts.
The road is hard,
Its hardship lies not in the nine-fold bend.
