幽居之人在何处？
紫色山岩上有仙人的足迹。
月光下横放着珍贵的琴，
除此之外还有什么欲求？
琴材取自峄山的树干，
琴徽点缀着昆丘的美玉。
琴唇涂漆似蛟龙之口，
琴弦缠绕如凤凰之足。
先弹奏《广陵散》完毕，
后又以《明光曲》接续。
花费百金只为买得一声清音，
耗费千金只为传下一曲绝调。
世间已无钟子期那样的知音，
谁能明白我内心的归属？

Where does the recluse dwell?
Purple cliffs bear immortal traces.
Beneath the moon, a precious lute lies still,
What else could he desire in such places?
Its frame from Yi Mountain's finest wood,
Inlaid with jade from Kunlun's crest.
Lacquered lips where dragon's essence stood,
Silk strings wound like a phoenix's nest.
First, the 'Guangling' melody ends,
Then 'Mingguang' continues the air.
A hundred gold for a single note he spends,
A thousand to pass a tune with care.
No Zhong Ziqi exists in this age,
Who knows where the heart's allegiance lies?
