开凿水井时遇到古坟，
古坟衬托著沉沦湮没。
这是谁家的青铜镜，
被这长河波光中的明月送来？
长河多么幽暗深邃，
千年光辉也无法透彻照亮。
玉制的镜匣历经黄泉，
镜背的金龙潜藏在幽深洞窟。
系镜的丝带已经销蚀散落，
华美的锦衣也已残破不全。
莓苔遮蔽了清澈的池水，
虾蟆啃蚀著水中的明月（镜影）。
埋没沦落至今如此境地，
但照见本心的功能未曾停歇。
愿您垂赐拂拭的恩泽，
让我为您照鉴如云的秀发。

Digging a well, I met an ancient tomb;
The ancient tomb sinks into oblivion.
Whose family's bronze mirror is this,
Sent here by the moon on long waves?
The long river, how dark and deep,
For a thousand years, its light not piercing through.
The jade casket has passed through the nether springs,
The golden dragon hides in a deep cavern.
The silk cords have already decayed and scattered,
The brocade robe is also damaged and incomplete.
Moss and lichen obscure the clear pool,
Toads gnaw at the bright moon.
Buried and fallen, now like this,
Yet its heart of illumination has never ceased.
I wish for the grace of being wiped clean,
To be your mirror for cloud-like hair.
