一只蝉在墙那边鸣叫。
依稀是旧日山林里的阳光，
纷乱地萦绕在山中的殿堂。
难以让吟风的口沉默，
终究怀着以清露为食的衷肠。
作为老僧加以爱护之物，
理应任由它在残阳里喧噪。

One cicada sings from beyond the wall.
Faintly, the sun of the old woods,
Disorderly, it winds around the mountain hall.
Hard to silence this wind-chanting mouth,
In the end, pure, with dew-drinking innards.

Should be left to clamor against the setting sun.
