欣喜地来到广阔的洞庭湖北面，
一座孤岛横亘在暮霭之中。
白鹭衔着鱼飞入寺院，
乌鸦接着抛出的饭食跟随船只。
松树和桧树，君山显得遥远；
菰米和蒲草，与云梦泽相连。
与禅师吟诗论道的地方，
秋日的湖水仿佛浸透了辽远的天空。

Joyfully arriving north of the vast lake,
A lone isle lies across the evening mist.
An egret brings fish into the temple,
Crows follow the boat, catching tossed rice.
Pines and cypresses, Mount Jun stands aloof;
Reeds and wild rice stretch to Dream Marsh.
Here with the master, chanting and discussing,
Autumn water soaks into the distant sky.
