心王不了事，却被六贼使。

xīn wáng bù liǎo shì， què bèi liù zéi shǐ。

ㄒㄧㄣㄨㄤˊ ㄅㄨˋ ㄌㄧㄠˇ ㄕˋ，ㄑㄩㄝˋ ㄅㄟˋ ㄌㄧㄡˋ ㄗㄟˊ ㄕˇ。

共贼作火下，无由出生死。

gòng zéi zuò huǒ xià， wú yóu chū shēng sǐ。

ㄍㄨㄥˋ ㄗㄟˊ ㄗㄨㄛˋ ㄏㄨㄛˇ ㄒㄧㄚˋ，ㄨˊ ㄧㄡˊ ㄔㄨㄕㄥㄙˇ。

心王不能明了事理，

反被眼耳鼻舌身意六贼驱使。

与贼寇一同处在火宅之下，

便无从超脱生死轮回。

The lord of mind fails in its task,

Instead is driven by the six thieves.

Consorting with thieves under the fire,

No way to escape birth and death he achieves.
