A land of moss for ten thousand miles,
No trace of haste or pursuit is seen.
Only a window of words is opened,
To inscribe the visage of sun and moon.
The bamboo's rhythm drifts, desolate and scattered,
Grass and flowers are but lush in vain.

And alone recognize the green pine.
