I spared my fan when autumn came, cast away.
Now my fondness for it has not decayed.
I tenderly commit it to a soft grasp,
And wait for a clear breeze with its rustling sound.
Noon's heat feels as if Crimson Cliff is near.
Night's sounds are followed by a fan of white plumes.
It's always like the climate of the southern land,
No more the sorrow of the fair Lady Ban.
