春风不追随君王而去，草色年年染绿旧日的宫路。
宫中的歌舞早已如浮云消散，空指着行人往来之处。

When will tender love return? The high terrace stands empty, many-tiered.
Tears held back gleam on both sleeves, / Unable to bear looking towards Xiling.
The Zhang River flows east, never to return, / The flower-bedecked imperial path is now but moss.
The painted towers, moonlit nights, long lonely, / Green clouds at dusk idly drift.
Do you not see, in Ye all things are not as before, / The ancients gone, the moderns grieve.
The spring breeze does not follow the monarch away, / The grass is green each year on the old palace road.
The palace songs and dances have become floating clouds, / Vainly pointing to the place where travelers come and go.
